Een afgelegen dorp Wae Codi werd van stromend water voorzien. Het water wordt opgepompt gebruik makend van zonneenergie (zie foto). 950 inwoners kunnen nu hun tijd aan andere zaken besteden dan water halen.

Hallo Pak Gerard,
I send you pictures of Wae Codi, as we have added another small bronkap near the bak (you remember the place where Hans could not manage to continue?) and a new smaller bak near the kampung, to collect some more water. It makes now the kampung well accessed to water. We also, like at the other water projects, installed a plaque, to tell 'to the world' those who worked together for the project.
